3 GREAT WAYS YOU CAN HELP WITH THIS BELLEVIEW TRADITION OF GENEROSITY
1. Bring nonperishable food items to your children’s classroom’s collection box:
- Kindergarten: Canned fruit (pears, peaches, mixed fruit, cranberries, cranberry sauce)
- 1st Graders: Stuffing mix (box or bag)
- 2nd Graders: Cornbread, muffin, or biscuits
- 3rd Graders: Canned vegetables (corn, green beans, carrots)
- 4th Graders: Regular/sweet potatoes (fresh, boxed, or canned) and Gravy (mix or jar)
- 5th Graders: Pie shell/mix & ready-made pie filling
- Parents: Boxes-Boxes with lids (paper boxes work great)
2. Leave a grocery store gift card at Belleview’s front desk in an envelope labeled “Thanksgiving Meals”. (Preferably $25 but any amount helps.)
3. Assemble a complete “meal-in-a-box” project with your family. Some ideas listed in the attached flyer, but please feel free to do what you think would make someone’s Thanksgiving Day special.
