The SPELLBOUND Fundraiser is here!

Pledge envelopes came home in last week’s folders.  Spelling tests will be given on Thursday, January 18th and all pledge money will be due backWednesday, January 24th.  We only need your envelopes back when you turn in your pledge money.  This is one of the largest fundraisers for Belleview.  If every Belleview Student K-5 were sponsored just $1.00 per word, the PTCO would raise over $11,000 to go towards classroom resources!  Also, the child who raises the most funds for Belleview will receive a new 16GB iPod Touch (a $200 value).

Library Volunteers Needed

If you’re looking for one to help, we always have a lot of sorting and organizing after long weekends and holidays and we’d love help on 1/16, 2/23, 3/1 and the week after spring break. Sign up here!

Sign up for WatchDogs Today!

An innovative program that’s being used by schools across America to provide an opportunity for fathers (and mothers) to make a positive difference in their students’ lives at school.

It’s a half day at school- you are announced as the Watch DOG of the day and then you’re into everything at Belleview from playing with kids at recess, having lunch, helping in the classroom, assisting with art, PE, and library time to being on guard when busses arrive and depart.

Attention:  Traffic Safety

Parents please slow down when you are entering or leaving the school parking lot.  We have young students who may not always look both ways.  It is the driver’s responsibility to look out for small children and to slow down to ensure the safety of our students.  Thank you for keeping our students safe.
