Philanthropy Club Reminder and Update

Philanthropy Club will NOT meet on Tuesday, December 12. Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 9 at 2:45. We will be making fleece tie blankets for families at Ronald McDonald House.

Belleview’s Philanthropy Club would like to share the results of our fall projects/activities:
Veteran’s Day Sale- Philanthropy Club made just over $200 and sold out of all of our items.  The proceeds will go towards funding all of our projects this year.

Delivered close to 70 Thanksgiving Meals to Eastridge Elementary and Belleview families.

Through our Coat Drive, we provided 84 jackets, 1 hat, 2 pairs of boots & 3 pairs of snow-pants to Denver area refugees through the Denver Health organization’s Reach Out Clothing Kids.

It’s been a busy fall!  Thank you to everyone who generously contributed their time and money to help us with these outstanding efforts!

Exceptional Volunteer Nomination

Each year our district recognizes exceptional volunteers at a dinner in April.  The award recognizes volunteers of the Cherry Creek School District for their dedication to our students, faculty, and community.  Please consider all volunteers supporting our school. Each school will select one honoree to be recognized at the exceptional volunteer dinner.  If you wish to nominate a volunteer for this award, send an email or letter to me by January 12th with the name of the volunteer, name of their child(ren) attending Belleview and a brief description telling us, why you nominated this exceptional volunteer.  Please limit to 100 words. If this nominee is selected as the honoree your description may be read the night of the event. While not all volunteers will receive this award, I love hearing about each of our volunteers. I give a huge round of applause to all parents, families and community members who give time to our school.  Even the smallest amount makes a difference.  Belleview is a great school because of the partnership we share with our community. I look forward to seeing you in the classrooms, hallways, or outside as you drop off your children.
