Dine Out Night, Sept 28
Our first Dine Out Night of the school year will be held at Chipotle Mexican Grill (Belleview Promenade location) Thursday, September 28th, 4-8pm. Take the night off from cooking and come support Belleview by dining in or carrying out! (Flyer attached)
Belleview Evacuation Drill, Sept 29
Belleview Elementary School will be participating in an all school evacuation drill. This will occur on Friday September 29th, from approximately 9:00am to 10:00am. We will be walking down Dayton Street, meeting inside Hope Methodist Church on the corner of Belleview, and walking back. If you need to pick up your student Friday morning for an appointment, please plan to do so before 9:00am, or after 10:00am. Thank you for your support in our annual safety practices.
October Count, Oct 2
Why is this an important day? October Count provides one the largest portions of the district’s funding. Parents it is Very Important that your child comes and arrives on time for school attendance this day. If your child is going to be late, please make sure you call the attendance line (720) 554-3120 so we know they will be coming. If you have any questions, please call Rhonda at (720) 554-3102.
Parent Information Network Meeting, Oct 3
Join us for the Cherry Creek School District Parent Information Network meeting (PIN) on Tuesday, Oct 3rd from 9:15-11:15am or the evening of Weds, Oct 11 from 7:00pm-8:45pm. The topic will be “ADHD? Or Just Late, Last and Unorganized”. The speaker will be Cyle Feingold, Executive Director of Results Learning. Meetings will be held monthly at SARC – The Student Achievement Resource Center. The address is 14188 E. Briarwood Ave, Centennial. All meetings are FREE and no RSVP is needed.
Walk to School Day, Oct 4
Join students, families, school leaders, community partners and mayors around the country on October 4 to celebrate the benefits of walking to school during International Walk to School Day. See the attached flyer for details on Belleview’s Walk to School Day event. Staff Appreciation Lunch, Oct 11
We will be having our first Staff Appreciation Lunch on Wednesday, October 11th. We’d love to have your help with treating our amazing teachers and staff to a delicious lunch. The theme for this lunch will be ITALIAN. We would love a mix of traditional, healthy, and gluten free Italian options for our teachers and staff. The time has come to celebrate your 5th grader! To help commemorate your child’s final year at Belleview, please submit a digital file of their baby picture and a 40-word dedication for printing in the yearbook and a presentation at the Continuation Ceremony (more details in attached flyer). Parents of Kindergarten, Frist and Second Graders: Shakespeare Apprentices start October 31
Your child is invited to join the Belleview Shakespeare Club. We meet everyTuesday, 7:00 – 7:45am in the gym. On May 1st, 2018, we will put on a fabulous show called Babysitting for the Bard.
Kindergarten Parents: Please drop off your budding Bard or Bardess in the gym and the Shakespeare teachers will make sure s/he gets to morning K or KEP when the meeting is over. If your child is PM K only please pick up your child at 7:45am at the seats by the front office. Please be on time as the teachers have to get to their classrooms.

Watch Dogs is a new volunteer program we’re bringing to Belleview this year. Join your student for a half day or whole day in the classroom. Help with student drop off and bus arrival, be recognized on the morning announcements and then spend the day with your student helping in the classroom, going to recess and enjoying lunch with them.
