Belleview’s Annual Fun Run, The Belleview Stampede, Friday Sept 15
It’s STAMPEDE WEEK!!! Let’s make our largest fundraiser of the year a tremendous success!
Stampede Run Day is this Friday, September 15th! Here is what you need to know…
Get as many pledges as you can this week! Use your student webpage on www.thegetmovincrew.com site or your Pledge Envelopes. Online donations DO NOT need to be recorded on the envelope, it is for check & cash donations only.
On Friday, make sure your child has
- a water bottle (there is no other water available on the track)
- comfortable running clothes and running/walking shoes
- class themed spirit wear (if needed)
Come cheer on your Little Buff as they Stampede around the track, see Run Day Schedule below (don’t forget to check in at the front desk first).

Congratulations to Mr. James & his 4th grade class! They lead the Stampede donations from the most states competition. Mr. James won an Amazon gift card and his class all received a special Award Certificate. Keep up the great work Belleview!
Belleview School Store, Sept 22
Kids of all ages love the chance to shop for small trinkets during their recess and lunch time. Prices range from 10 cents to $5 and lots in between. The school store is a great way to see your child and their friends at school while helping to raise a little extra money for Belleview. Dine Out Night, Sept 28
Our first Dine Out Night of the school year will be held at Chipotle Mexican Grill (Belleview Promenade location) Thursday, September 28th, 4-8pm. Take the night off from cooking and come support Belleview by dining in or carrying out! (Flyer attached)
1st Philanthropy Club Meeting, Sept 12 from 2:45-3:40
Please join Belleview’s Philanthropy Club (meeting in Ms. Vetter’s classroom) as we clean up Belleview! Plastic bags and gloves will be supplied. All grades welcome along with parents and siblings. See the flyer for a calendar of planned events for the school year.
If your child is interested in joining Philanthropy Club, please complete the attached flyer/permission form and either email it or have your child bring it to the meeting.

Belleview on the Run, our Belleview Running Club, is back for 3rd through 5th graders starting September 14 after school! Fall dates are September 14, 21, 28, October 5, 12, 19. We’d love to have your student come run with us, have fun, and make new friends. Please see the attached flyer for details and the link to sign up! Girls on the Run is coming to Belleview
Girls on the Run (GOTR) is starting a team for girls, grades 3-5, this fall! GOTR is a curriculum-based program which teaches life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games. The goal of GOTR is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. Girls on the Run is a national non-profit organization. Girls meet twice a week (Wed, Fri) in the front of the school, from 2:45-4:15. Season starts on 9/13 and finishes at The Great Candy Run on 11/12. We will skip Fall Break week.

Watch Dogs is a new volunteer program we’re bringing to Belleview this year. Join your student for a half day or whole day in the classroom. Help with student drop off and bus arrival, be recognized on the morning announcements and then spend the day with your student helping in the classroom, going to recess and enjoying lunch with them.

Parent Information Meeting, Sept 13
Join us for the Parent Information Network meeting (PIN) on Sept 13 from 7:00pm-8:45pm. The topic will be The Mind of a Champion, Empowering Kids with Confidence, Power and Passion. Meetings will be held monthly at SARC – The Student Achievement Resource Center. The address is 14188 E. Briarwood Ave, Centennial. All meetings are free and no RSVP is needed.
Cherry Creek Schools Parent Academy: Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS)
CPS is a research-based approach that is designed to be both proactive and preventative as well effective in teaching parents how to work toward mutually satisfactory solutions to challenging behaviors. Classes are facilitated by highly trained members of the district’s mental health team and provide a safe and supportive learning environment for parents to gain valuable skills and knowledge, ask questions and support the healthy development of their kids. In turn, these resources also help our schools, teachers and staff as they seek to meet student’s social-emotional and behavioral needs. This is a true win-win.
